Jeep Wrangler Brake Work Question

A month ago, I had quite a bit of brake work done to my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. To be specific, I had all 4 rotors and brake pads replaced, both calipers on the front end, as well as the brake hose on the front left. Unfortunately, just one month later, my Jeep already started having brake issues again. So last week I brought my Jeep back to the same service department to be diagnosed, and I am told that due to a faulty front right brake hose, everything on the front right side needs to be replaced including all of the recently installed brand new parts (caliper rotor & pad), plus the bad hose. I am told that none of the work that was done or any of the brand new parts have a warranty, and I will need to pay completely out of pocket again. Is it likely just a coincidence that the front right hose went bad just weeks after everything else brake related was replaced, or does it appear that the shop likely made an error on the previous work that caused the recent issues?

I agree with you. That hose had to be on it's way out. He's wrong about the warranty too. Any shop that does a lot of business with a parts house can return those parts for replacement. I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't planning on doing that and pocketing the money anyway. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Shop is the seller of parts. They own it, marked up parts it's theirs now. Don't do ONE SIDE only on brake things do both equally just one hose is hack IMO, T

Push them on the warranty. They can get them replaced for free if they want to.
