I think I did nearly everything I should not have. Now I need to replace the back left brake line but I cannot remove the bolts as they are completely stripped. One is entirely stripped (circular now, and slightly bent) I took an electric saw to the metal hose, but I cannot get the stripped bolts out (so far I have tried lubricant and tapping). What should I do? Is this a lost cause and I need to take it in? You have already succeeded in making things 10 times worse than they were. I think you'll still save money. Unless it's the one in the caliper that's stripped then just replace the caliper.
