Ceramic Brakes Sign In

I've read about the difference between Ceramic and metallic and semi-metallic brakes. I've decided on ceramic but on Amazon or in an auto parts store the selection is basically, "do you want to pay this much, or that much?" There is a wide range of prices for ceramic brake pads when I compare, for example, an AC Delco number 12345 to AC Delco number 12346. What exactly makes one ceramic pad more expensive than another? Should I use the price to assume what the quality of the pad is?

If you are trying to compare selections within one brand you can just visit their website and they should tell you all you need to know about their products.

Tried some with the claim they don't make annoying dust and lasted lots longer. Just once, those wore out in no time but didn't make brake dust and cost more is all. Maybe there's stuff that meets OE specs (these parts have to) and are better just my experience is reasonable quality to OE specs work best still. AYOR if they do as advertised for you,

There are many, many cars that use ceramic pads as OEM. The only situation that I wouldn't use them is if the vehicle is used for towing.
They resolve a lot of the issues that metallic and semi-metallic pads cause.
