I have an rv in the p30 chassis. A dog chased a kitten under the vehicle and bit through a large wire harness, the air bag input hose and an abc sensor line. I do not have the tools to replace the sensor. Can I get by with splicing the wires until I can get it to the shop? Is the sensor system polarity sensitive?

Yes it is polarity sensitive and it depends on just how you plan on splicing them. If you solder and heat shrink, it could be a permanent repair. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
