Unibody vs Body on Frame Repairs

I'm trying to understand the difference in collision repairs between a unibody and a body on frame SUV. For a unibody, what part of the body can't be repaired? Also, for a unibody, I've seen B pillars get completely replaced as it can come off as a single piece; apparently it's a single piece that's welded on. But what can't come of as a single piece and has to be cut off? Or can everything come off as a single piece and be rewelded? And how does it differ from work on a body on frame?

Wit the exception of the fenders, doors, hood and trunk, everything is welded together.
There is a removeable subframe/cradle under the engine but the rest of the body is all one piece.
A full frame vehicle has a steel tube frame holding the suspension, engine, trans and differential that the entire body can be lifted off from.
