I can't start the ATV. It just turns over but won't start. If I pull it with another ATV it starts right away and runs rough until it warms up. I removed the carb and everything seems to be clean. Any suggestions?????????

Suzuki; When it won't start, pull the plugs to see if they are wet with fuel. Sounds like a flooding condition, to me. If they are, hold the throttle wide open when trying to start to see if it helps. Loren SW Washington

Thanks Loren. The plug is not wet but I will pull the carb again and check the float. Could it be the needle valve setting??? or not enough spark? It starts right away when pushed or pulled!!!

Having to push start is usually an indication of weak ignition so unless the plug is staying white or offwhite replace it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Which means it's not burning cleanly. If it is black and sooty, it can't produce a good spark.
