I think there should be a chatbox or a chatpage that can be used fer quick messages. I'd make it no questions about cars allowed those are for posts, and you have to be registered to use it. It would be easy for people to say their thanks to the techs for their awesome help, and an easy way to say hey check your messages gotta talk, or even a nice way to stay in contact with people without having to message them. There's a section right now call "Open Posting" for about anything you wish to discuss. That or the private message system you can see if you click on someone's user name if that is enabled or not for that individual. Those are out of view to anyone and you could share private info if you wished, T

I help moderate a couple of online communication boards that have "chat boxes" and must say the can be a lot of fun and help build relationships between members. That's my 2 cents worth, just saying.

We have a lounge forum but it's exclusive to regular members/contributors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Section for "open posting" will have to do for now. Yes - I'm the first person here short of IT help to set up the site and isn't worth a nickle to change things. Help from owner can be slow as I don't think he expected this to be such a popular site but we are blessed with some VERY competent help. Laugh - It's all free to use and put up with the ads that pay the bills. It's that or what? It's nuts - we have fully trained and current techs here. I'm the one to ask how to fit a wooden spoke in a wagon wheel - oh just smile. Just know that if you click on user names you can send private messages that are not on the web. Be well, hope we can can get you thru whatever issues, Tom Greenleaf (burbs of Boston)

Welcome.... As Hammer mentioned, stick around and contribute It will be recognized. I agree,a chatbox would be cool, but for now,as TG mentioned, open posting and/or PM will have to do. Enjoy the board,a great bunch of regulars here. Some irregulars too...LOL..... They Rear their ugly heads... DJ
