2006 Jeep Commander 5.7 Hemi Right rear power window doesn't lower. Using the switch the window will try to move up but shows no movement when using switch to lower it. Window is all the way up now. Any ideas how to simply check for problem?

You can be pretty confident that you need a new regulator. Most of them work on a cable and pulley system and once they come apart, they are junk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Thanks Hammertime, So I went on youtube and found some other solutions as well, several with broken wires in those rubber covers between the door and the posts. I guess if there is no broken wires I'll have to take it in to a pro and have him designate my real problem..thanks again

Can you move the window up or down with your hands? If you can it's likely a regulator.
