2006 Jeep Commander Ignition Fuse Problem

I have a 2006 Jeep Commander 4.7L V8. A couple of weeks ago, my husband came out from work and the car wouldn't start. No click or any noise. AAA said the battery was fine. When the guy checked the ignition fuse and put it back in, the Jeep started right up. But when he got home, it would not start again.
We replaced the ignition relay and fuse, but that didn't help. The vehicle would start when the fuse had been pulled and put back in, but not on subsequent attempts.
So now that is the only way we are able to drive the car. We have to take the ignition fuse out and put it back in. Then, it will start. If we do not do that, it will not start.
All the lights come on when you turn the key. The radio works. It just doesn't do anything when you turn it to start, unless you do the fuse trick.
I am not mechanically inclined, but if it is something not that difficult or expensive, I am willing to try. Thank you.

It worked just from taking that fuse out and back? Surprised new one (check it again, same trick) and see if it changes like before. If so couple ideas IDK temp or long term fix worth a try IMO:
I'd either remove that fuse (have another) and really take a good look where it goes for contacts. Hard to do can be tightened some with like dental tools or stuff just for that.
Side note: Could be the back side too??
So if it appears basically OK try with small needle nose pliers to just put a twist on contacts of fuse, not too much.
2nd idea same idea is the receiving end: Cut a paper nail file down so it's the size of the spade of the fuse. AYOR if you bust it. Just rough it up once inside use rest of file used for fingernails on the spades.
Side topic, different vehicle similar age of my own. Had replaced lots of bulbs that tolerated LED + another bulbs not working lots older on same and a Jeep product. Filed just where bulbs touch then slight smear of dielectric grease. All worked new to new sockets even??
Guess reason for now is where I am inside of vehicles plus under-hoods were cold and got very humid soaked insides and out just annoying but electrical stuff hates wet. So far so good.
I now recall it was four vehicles, a'98, a 94, an '89 and a '97 all within a week or so had to be that soaking wet inside and on everything just over humid on cold items that are just old! BTW the grease solved it none repeated the problem so far,

If you're talking about the 20A fuse #20, that fuse goes directly to the PCM which in turn operates the starter relay.
I'm not sure exactly what pulling the fuse is doing but it appears to clear something sticking in the PCM.
Instead of pulling the fuse you need to use a test light that can read either power or ground to test both sides of the fuse when this isn't starting to see what you have on either side of the fuse and that will tell us something about where to go next.

Make sure it is capable of identifying either power or ground, not just a power only light. It will have 2 clamps that have to be attached to the battery.

They make single ones, one pigtail light shows GREEN for ground and RED for battery+. No battery in it needed under $5 bucks sometimes. You just reverse where pigtail (alligator clip end) is, on ground or pos+. LED works from less than 6V - 24V,

No, it HAS to be connected to the car battery with 2 leads and it HAS to be LED to read correctly. If he starts reversing test lights he going to burn out a computer if not done correctly.

? What's the difference between a cig light's power and bat power? Nothing if on at all times. Ones that shut off the cord you showed is up to 10 feet get the same still haven't spent $12 bucks. LED however uses so little it's not going to dim if you are looking for that when an item is being used.
Fancy would show a drop in voltage. It seems like this is just a "Go or No Go" problem to me?? T

Yes, there is a big difference, especially if he decides to save money and buys an incandescent light. He will fry the module so please don't confuse him.
