I am installing a new stereo in the alero, old one had some problems. After removing factory radio I clipped the factory connector and wired the new connector to the harness. I then discovered that I have no voltage in the power wire. This is in the acc and on positions of the ignition switch. Fuse is ok. Where did my power go and why?

I am going by the orange wire which according to the wire diagram is the power wire. If I am wrong please correct me.

No big deal here, I just tapped into an ignition wire and hooked it up that way. I was just curious to see if anyone knew if rhere was a junction box or a fuse or some other harness that would cause a problem. Thanks for your help and I will try and help someone else if i can
