grinding noise from front end Sign In

1989 GMC K1500 200K+miles. I'm getting an intermittent grinding noise that grinds at the same speed as the rotation of the wheels. It even does it when coasting and applying the brakes has no effect I.E. when the speed goes down so does the frequency of the grinding noise. This is on the front of the vehicle.

You're not going to know what it is until someone inspects it. It could be wheel bearings, brakes, differential bearings, etc

I jacked up both sides of the front end and checked wheels by turning them by hand. The passenger front is making a dragging sound when spun. Crap.
Thanks for your input, much apprreciated.
