hi I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 and the front passenger side axle u joint goes out at least once a year do you know why?

tsteadman; I've had 4X4's the past 20 years and never lost a front u-joint. We've had to replace a few on customer's rigs, but.... The replacement joints can be purchased with greaseable or non-greaseable types. I would always choose the greaseable type, of course.
With that said, you may want to take it in to an alignment shop...may be turning sharper one way than the other? Wild guess.
