brake light/abs light

hi i have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 4x4 standard trans with a 318 it is a plain jane truck the only extra it has is a.c. i had to put a new heater core in it which i had to take the hole dash out to do so and when i got it back together my brake / abs light comes on at about 42 miles an hour i'm pretty sure i did not get something plugged in but i don't know where or what so if you could give me an idea or two that would be great

tsteadman; Could be purely coincidental. Loose wire, loose ground, ect. Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. If you don't find anything obvious, have the trouble codes retrieved. Speed sensor? The speed sensor may have to be 'looked at' with a scanner while the vehicle is suspended or driven. Just a couple of thoughts. Loren SW Washington
