92 dodge dakota 5.2l is temperature sensitive to starting. From first turning the key there is no power to the fuel pump then after waiting anywhere from 2 to 15 minutes you hear a faint clicking noise from relay box under hood this picks up to faster pace the check engine light starts to flash in rythem with the clicking from the soliniods fuel & asd the clicking slows to a stop along with the check engine light it goes out and the truck will start runs rough at first then runs fine for the rest of the day the longer and colder the night is the longer the starting process. To date i have replaced fuel pump, relays, fuses, cut out any bad splices from the wiring harness leading to and from the relay box mounted on drivers side fender well, also cleaned all grounds and connections.this is driving me crazy and i have made it my lifes mission to solve it but i need help. thankx

This clicking and flashing when first attempted suggests a poor connection to full battery power. Is battery ok at all? Is it cranking the engine when this happens? Will it jump start properly or start right up if left on floating charger all night before? T
