I have a gmc safari van 2002 , I have removed the dog house and all other stuff like air tubes ect, but cannot see how the $%#@ radio comes out with out the use of chisels and large hammers. (I am a Sewer man by trade)

It's not a real big deal. It comes out through the front after removing the trim bezel in front of it. That may have a couple screws at the bottom but mostly snaps in. REMOVAL PROCEDURE - Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
- Squeeze the clip fasteners on the sides of the radio and pull out.
- Disconnect the electrical and the antenna connectors.
- Remove the radio from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE - Install the radio to the vehicle.
- Connect the electrical and the antenna connectors.
- Align the mounting clips with the slots in the instrument panel and slide into place.
- Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
- Verify component operation.
