I have a 1999 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0 liter V6. I tried to start it the and interior lights came on but wouldn't start. Then when tried again nothing came on. Then it was completely dead. So I replaced the battery, the car started working fine for two weeks. Then the exact same problem occurred. What could it be? Also I should mention it was right after a real cold snap when it happened both times.

You need to recharge the battery and then test the charging system. You may have an alternator problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
