Toyota Fuel Injectors Sign In

I am trying to replace the "O" rings for the fuel injectors in my 1989 Toyota Pickup with a 3.0L V6 engine. When I removed the injectors, I found a rubber seal cushion on the bottom end of the injector where it inserts into the plastic insulator on top of the intake manifold. I purchased a kit ensemble from NAPA which seems to have more and different shaped seals in it for each injector. No problem with the "O" ring at the top connection with the fuel delivery pipe but I am concerned about the other end. Am I correct in using the larger seal around the metal part of the injector to seat into the upper shoulder of the plastic insulator? Doing so certainly makes it difficult to rotate the injector "freely" as described in the manual. Attaching photos of the old seals and the new ones from NAPA.
