96 vulcan rear bearing

96 vulcan rear bearing went out .....is this a do it yourself job (i have clymers manual) if so does it require specialized tools ? shaft drive....mag wheel..... any hints or tips from someone who has done this before...thanks

Most of us here are car guys, but I know the Clymer manual for my bike is pretty good with pictures and details so I think you should read the procedure. Also, which bearing is it that is bad? Rear end has more than one. Some you may need a press for, but if you do the R&R most shops won't charge you much for the press work.
