hi. my father is going through old boxes of parts and i told him i would help ID some of them. he has an old rear view mirror "guide glareproof" and the arm has number, PT 4830 092. can anyone help with a make/model of this mirror? thank u very much! love, teri

Just looked and didn't find a specific vehicle this is for. Guide is or was a company that made a ton of lenses, mirrors mostly for GM I think but maybe a lot more? That part # probably just means which button would hold it you would stick on inside of windshield. Anti-glare is a clue is not that old meaning less than probably 30 years, T

hi and thank u. i showed that answer to my dad and he had not collected parts since the early 70s. With that being said, i saw a reference to these being used on 66 GTO's...it is interesting, however, that these are generic...i had thought that maybe the PT portion was for pontiac? or is that just another code? thank u again! teri

Nothing Generic about these They were made by Guide Lamp division of GM They used them on all GM cars,Olds, Cadillac, Buick Chevy Pontiac That part number is for the inside rear view mirror "Support",.........One catalog I have shows it fits 62-88 Olds 88 and 98
