Mustang or GTO???

I am getting ready to buy a new car. 2007 Mustang GT Premium or 2006 GTO I naturally want to say the GTO since it has 400hp instead of the 300 which the Mustang offers, but then again, the GTO looks very boring. Plus there a dying breed and don't think I will be able to get my hands on one quick enough before they completely gone off of the lots. What do you guys think? I live in Philadelphia, and we get snow here most of the time in the winter. I need something that I won't crash in the snow. I know both are rear wheel and suck in the snow, but which one would be a little better? I guess this is a pointless question because both are equally the same???

I may be to late as you may have already made the purchase. I hope you decided on the Mustang GT for many important reasons. One being the V8 power plant. I have owned Mustangs for over 25 years and they are performers and the after market items are very easy to come by and are affordable. I have a 67 coupe 289 and a 1990 GT 5.0. Hatchback. Ford has kept the new stangs traditional and appealing. If it wasn't a Mustang it would be a V6 Fusion with AWD.
