Wondering if anyone has ever taken this road before. I'd like to have one of these cars but they are way out of my budget. Does anyone make a kit that is street legal?

There was a car sold called the Amphibicar in the 1960s. I watched one drive right down a boat ramp and kept on going!! It's always impressed me. It's been a while but there was always a car at the Boston pops concert in the water that was custom made. It had little freeboard so a big wake would have sunk it but everyone respected it. It was a home made car and I can't help you except to say that it's been done! I no longer own a boat but the Boston pops at the Hatch Shell and awesome fireworks for the 4th of July have been a thing here for decades. Thousands of folks show up for it and thousands of boats show up for it. Have done that a couple times - if you are not familiar search "Charles River" both Boston and Cambridge, MA and you might find something about the event. That and the "Feast of St. Anthony" which is the Italian North End of Boston (Kind of like a Mardi Gras) take the cake here. Plan on $40 parking---- dang you can get a hotel room for that elsewhere!! Be well, T
