i am new here so if i posted in the wrong spot, please move for me.

Hello everyone i have been having problems with my 94 and 95 Chevy truck and am tired of taking it to the shops over here and they don't fix it.

i want to buy my own scan tool do do my own repairs. i build hot rods and customs and do all my engine work but i am a newbie when it come to this electronic stuff.

i have been looking at the
inova 3140 scan tool
sunpro cp9190
and the autoxray
i have cars with the OBD1 and OBD2 so i want one that i can use on both
any help and reviews on them would be greatly appreciated.

There are a couple of them out there. Buying a combination tool that does both starts getting these things in the pricey range.

If you own a laptop than this is a good bet:
https://www.obd2allinone.com/

There, they have a kit that will do both and runs about $200.

That large majority of hand held scanners that will do both can run $600+ although there are a few tha are priced within the range of us mere mortal shadetree mechanics.

Check out this one:
