2015 chevy malibu 42,000 miles hasn't been driven for 2 years,what kind of engine problems should i be looking for?

It's not really engine troubles. It's fuel problems. That stale fuel needs to be completely cleaned out before turning the key on and circulating through the system. Fuel pump problems wouldn't be surprising either.
That usually means dropping the fuel tank to get it all out.
I would change the oil also.
If you are in a cold zone, make sure it had enough anti freeze that it never froze up either.
