Community College Auto Tech programs Sign In

Hi sorry if this isn't the right place for this question but I did a google search and saw a similar question (although it was several years old so I figured it'd be best to make a new topic)

I have been looking for something to go back to school for, initially I was going to do Computer Networking but i've also always been curious about Automotive/Auto tech stuff and the local community college does offer an Automotive Technology program.

My problem is that I have no real knowledge about working on cars or anything like that, i'm pretty much a novice but i've always been curious and wanted to learn it (just lacked having a way to learn), I was thinking of taking 1 or 2 classes of it to see if I liked it but i'm worried that i'd get in there and be completely lost

I'm basically just wondering if anyone here has/had experience in one of these programs, are they beginner friendly in your experience?

Thanks for any input and sorry for the longish post!
