Car Mechanic to HGV Mechanic Sign In

Hello there, I currently live in the UK and I am 2 years into my light vehicle (car) apprenticeship. I would like to become HGV/commercial mechanic eventually.
Does anyone know if I can take a small course after my light vehicle apprenticeship or will I need to complete a full course for HGV/commercial to become fully qualified?

Thanks CammySmile

This site is based in the US so we aren't going to be much help.

Why don't you just ask a mechanic at a local shop that is HVG certified? There are other ways to get answers other than the internet. You could even check with your local government.
