95 4runner stalling

I've had an ongoing problem with stalling and a pulsing idle with my 95 toyota 4runner for over a month. Replaced fuel filter ,MAF, cleaned out throttle body and air/fuel manifold on top as well as vacuum hoses going into this.I no longer have the pulsing idle but the idle runs high. This am it ran fine for 20 minutes and then symptoms returned and now vehicle will not stay running. Will start but will die after a few seconds ,pressing the accelerator does nothing. Could a fuel pump cause these problems for that long and then finally just die? I tried blocking the vacuum hose to the EGR this am to see if that would change anything and it worked fine for a while but as soon as I stopped and restarted the problem is worse than ever and when I put that all back together it still won't run more than a few seconds .
