Hi all. Has anyone had a problem with surging when idling? It is not an all the time issue but it does happen at random time. I own a 2001 chevy suburban 5.2 ltr with 141,000 miles. It has been well maintained. I have been to several places with no one being able to find out what the cause may be. I have had the chip flashed with most recent firmware. have a programer and have adjusted idle and returned it to factory specs. Now oil gauge is gone haywire. at idle when not surging it stays right a 40 dead center but once gas pedal is engaged it tends to hover right at 60 when i am going about 60mph. If i gas it, it almost pegs out. Very handy at fixing things on a car but am out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated.
