The doors on my 1993 bmw 325is will unlock with the turn of the key, but the door latch does not work. The doors can not be opened. Is there any way to get into the car? HELP!!!

OK so when you turn the key both door locks pop up right ? (is = sport which is a two door car correct) and when you left the door handle does it come up without a fight, or do you feel a little some thing holding it.... What about the passenger side? same thing? Did you recently have the doors jimmied open.... or did someone try to (IE) "Borrow" the car? Sometimes a person that doesn't know how to jimmy open a locked door can mess up more then they really know. Off topic: As with the possible door jimmy, I own a 92 BMW and have had it stolen which at the time I thought it was almost impossible to do since the car had double locking doors.... I could lock someone inside the car, and when we got it back after the theft, it turns out they used a simple screw driver to remove the out door cover followed by popping out the lock.... So I'm curious if someone may have tried this on your car.... and in the meantime knocked the door latch off track.
