How can I plug this leaking hole in my intake manifold??? HELP! Sign In

Hello all! I have 94 Econoline van with a 351W engine 130k. I recently got this van for cheap and it seems it would run OK but I have a major coolant leak on the passenger rear corner of this aluminum (I think) intake manifold. Please see pics!

PLEASE tell me if I didn't get the pics upload done right!

I need advice on how I can plug this hole. I'm just a shade tree mechanic and not brave enough to try and replace the manifold so plan B is a plug of some sort. Like something that would insert and expand out. I have seen some kind of rubber plug in the past with a bolt in the center you tighten and it expands but can't remember where. Could I JB Weld this some how, or thread a bolt into it? Any ideas or advice would be helpful! Thanks!

The only advice you will ever get here is to replace it with the correct, new part. We are professional technicians and we don't Mickey Mouse or patch things together like that. It looks like it has rusted a large hole right through the manifold casting. The pictures weren't much help as to the location of the problem.

PS, I made your images live

351 W of the vintage is/was both made for trucks and some cars, not many. Counter rotating (must know for trucks) hit up the web for both the lower and upper intake manifold if engine runs at all now (make sure) it will be fine again. Toughest block below all that junk is good but check. That top pic is a "freeze" plug of sorts the other hole IDK how that happened??
Used or probably some cloned new (AYOR for fit) is out there. Also know there's a heater tube under and hidden that is probably junk now too.
This seems parts from not using anti-freeze with additives and changing it on time over now lots of years.
Check lower end to make sure doing these is a fix or waste for you.
Era was hard to make power from an age old block (1950s) while getting OK fuel mileage and spitting clean air too.
You may find these faster as a Mustang GT type site if you go for it be clear the HO is also counter rotating - can't use the ones for other cars.

Other is used great shape dumped for body rust or other reason.

An OK running truck/van right now is worth it's weight in gold just know it's not all for a loss.

Note on JB weld fix. It might work but problem will show elsewhere soon after so is not a fix for long if it worked at all,

Tom
(edit new thought) 3rd pic up top I think that was already replaced with a cloned part that was junk why I said AYOR in the 1st place...
