There is no TSB on this, So I gusse you can call it a Nick TSB.

Here in ontario, Canada we get quite the winters and been running into common problem with 04-10 F-150's

All sizes are affected 4.2, 4.6, 5.4 and 5.4 supercharged

There is a fuel pump control module above the spare tire carrier housing is made of aluminium and bolted to steel bracket. In sever winter climents with heavy salt usage they tent to rot through the aluminium case and short out.

In same cases it has back fed to PCM and fried the PCM.

This has been misdiagnosed as a fuel pump many time. Also if you own this model of truck its a good thing to check. FPCM is around $150 can PCM is $1200+

How to check:

Lower spare tire on top of spare tire carrier bracket you will see FPCM un-bolt it and look at the back side for heavy corrosion and or holes.

There is a TSB but it applies the the Five Hundred, Freestyle and Montego (TSB 07-4-7). The problem I have seen for the F150's is that the FPDR is mounted under the truck and just corrodes away. The other bodies have different issues.
