Hello, I have an 05 cavalier, and it started getting hard to shift about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday when i got in, the pedal was almost to the floor, and i have to slam the shifter to get into gear, and it still wont hardly go into gear. the clutch is not slipping. Is there any way i can tell if it is the clutch, or the slave, or master cylinder? the resevoir is on the low side of fluid, but not extreme. any advice?

If clutch fluid reservoir is low then look for leaks. Master (looek towards rear mount also) flex hose, and again at the slave cylinder. If you can bleed it out now it may fix it for a while and you could test for fault if no leak found of 1. Master, 2. hose, 3, slave cylinder or perhaps a mechanical problem at pedal or clutch housing, T
