Transmission making a rattling sound when idle Sign In

Hello, My 2014 Dodge caravan with 125k miles is making a rattling sound, to me it sounds by the transmission side. The car also skips shifts when reversing, when I shift to Drive it skips to neutral then I have to turn off the car, turned it back on it goes away. Anyone knows what the could be? Could it be low on transmission fluid? No check engine codes.

Site gas a trans specialist hope to be by soon.
Just for now with a noise and this watch it under the hood actually turn shifter with a helper holding it still without fail.

IDK some of these tell you when low on fluid no dipstick IDK so wait for him if you don't see it unhooked for some reason? Tom

Hello, First thing i would do is check the fluid level, there is no dipstick so you would need the "measuring tool" You just push it down the tube til it bottoms out. Happens in reverse too? Just to confirm, you did scan the car and no codes? Gary
