I have a 2011 jeep patriot latitude 2.4L 82,000 mi Around 70,000 miles transmission came out it was still under warranty so they put in a brand new transmission recently I've noticed if I'm driving on the interstate and if I'm going up hill when I give it gas feels like it's slipping. The other day I was going around a turn when I gave it gas I felt it slipping but some days it doesn't do it. It's been pretty cold here recently and I never let it drop below a half a tank. I use it for work to read meters in probably average 200-300 miles per week

Hello, this is a cvt transmission, this transmission really doesnt "shift" it changes ratios. When you drive these car with cvt transmissions they do feel funny as they are changing ratios, but If you feel there is a problem check the fluid level. How many miles are on the car now? Do have a check engine light on? Gary

Hello, I looked at a picture of this trans, it showed it had a filler tube. Is there a dipstick to check the fluid? if there is check it make sure it full, look at the stick on both sides when reading fluid level. Gary

No dipstick, is there a filler tube? if theres an empty filler tube, the dipstick is a tool to check fluid level, they cant void your warranty for checking fluid level. If the filler tube has no dipstick, you would have to find a shop that has the "tool" to check your fluid. Gary
