Transfer Case swap... Only 1st and 2nd gear working

2000 Oldsmobile Bravada My transfer case in the Bravada is toast. I couldn't find the right transfer case (AWD) so I opted for a 2 wheel drive (or 4x4 if you want to get technical) and keeping the front drive line out. The new transfer case is 233C but it's vacuum driven (which I think is why I don't have the higher gears 3-5). So I Tee'd off a vacuum line from the carburetor and ran a hose to what I believe to be the vacuum supply port on the vacuum switch located on the transfer case. Looking at the diagram of the 233C Transfer Case, the vacuum supply line is directly to the right of the tab on the vacuum switch. When I blow through the line to the various ports on the vacuum switch I get a little resistance on the port I have it attached to but another port seems to have close to the same resistance while the 3rd port really doesn't have any resistance. So when I test drove to see if the vacuum would give me my upper gears, I still only have 1 & 2 gears. I am manually shifting understanding the computer would be in limbo since it electronically shifts. I'm just seeing if any of you have any other ideas. Also, I did transfer the solenoid looking thing from the old to the new transfer case (I think it is some type of switching mechanism). Any ideas?

Hello, So the trans was shifting fine before you did the transfer case swap? Trans is a 4L60E, 4 speed trans. Gary
