2008 Nissan Altima hybrid transmission oil change refill and drain plugs? Sign In

Hi I have a 2008 Nissan Altima hybrid with the ECVT transmission and I am trying to change the transmission oil using matic w oil but I do not know where the drain and fill plugs are. I did it about 8 years ago but I forgot. Can you please help anyone that knows or has reference diagrams or pictures?

There are no plugs in that picture.

Here they are. #1 is the fill plug. #2 is the drain plug. Remove both to drain.

It's the other side of the transaxle, not the other side of the car. It's more toward the center of the car, on the backside of the engine.

It's right near where the right side axle goes into the trans.

I see so it is still the same side basically driver side front wheel looking into the motor but on the right side of the axle. I will try to take a picture further back

No, you're not listening.

You are going to have to crawl under the engine and look at the trans from the opposite side.

Unless you have a lift you really shouldn't even be attempting this. You can't just jack up the front of the car. The car has to be level when you fill it.
