2004 Chrysler Town and Country dies in reverse Sign In

2004 Chrysler Town and Country dies when put in reverse. Transmission seems fine in all other respects.

? My first thought is motor mounts allow too much motion tugging on a wire or plug perhaps. At least rule that out. If found IMO it caused it not the cure find out which wires couldn't take it,

Hello,
Checks the mounts(agreed) also, make sure then air box is all hooked up, when you select reverse and the "snorkel tube" is cracked it may allow additional air in and stall the engine. Could be the trans but check this first. Gary

Does the stalling happen when car is cold?
