Hi guys,

I have a 1995 Toyota Estima/Previa/Tarago, with an automatic transmission and the 2TZ-FZE SuperCharged Engine.

Whenever I put my car into the 'drive' gear, there's hardly any power, and it's quite dangerous on the open road. It's like starting from 3rd gear or something, although it should be starting in 1st gear.

It's been like this for 1 year now, and i'm really sick and tired of it.

Does anyone know of what could be causing this, or how to fix it?

I can provide pictures and other info needed.

Thanks!

Hello,
If this trans is starting in 3rd gear, it is in a Failsafe mode, possible eletrical issue with the trans, you would need to hook up a scan tool and see if there are any codes present to give some direction, also check your fuses and connections. Gary
