I recently bought an old 1969 Buick Skylark. When I test drove it everything shifted great. With my luck, the very next day I couldn't get it into reverse! It almost feels like there isn't a "notch" the shifter sits in. It settles down great in everything but reverse. Note: I love cars and everything about them but I'm just starting to dive into the "do it yourself" world. I'm NOT a gear head... Yet lol. I don't know all the terminology yet but I've got a buddy helping me so don't worry about getting technical with your answer! Any ideas as to what the issue is? Thanks in advance!

Hello,
Im thinking either THM350 or 400 trans, how is 3rd gear on the car? also any foward movement in neutral? Gary
