2011 Ford Escape rear stabilizer link replacement

Hi all, I have a 2011 Ford Escape that I’ve replaced the front stabilizer bars. I started on the rear stabilizer bars and had a heck of a time getting them out but now, I can’t seem to get the new one’s in. My question, is it possible to get the rear stabilizer link replacements in without removing the stabilizer bar?

Those can be a pest. Try this: one side in the other in wait to finish up.
Tilt by weight the wheel holds a strut the other should cooperate still fussy but works,
