2002 Silverado Power Steering Leak Sign In

A couple of weeks ago I started hearing a groaning noise during turns. I could tell I had a leak somewhere in the power steering system due to fluid being found on the various parts. The system seemed to work fine other than the noise until 2 days ago the power steering went out completely. I checked the reservoir and it was basically empty. I refilled the reservoir and had power steering for about one turn of the steering wheel and it went out again. I looked under the truck and all the fluid that I had just put in was on the ground (almost a full quart). I would think it would have to be one of the hoses to lose this much fluid this quickly. Am I correct in my thinking? Could it be some other part of the system that could leak that fast?

Don't use this again till found! That's plenty fast to find it:
It's more likely to be fast on pressured hose NOT return ones but could be anywhere fluid goes.
The trucks w assorted packages and options could have PS fluid in line to a cooler at radiator, any from pump to box and return lines.
OTHER! Look and see if this has "Hydroboost" power brakes? A maybe and easy to see there NO vacuum booster it's PS fluid under pressure to boost that too and an accumulator to reserve some pressure if engine is off the typical set up for those.
So: Wipe the mess all off as best you can, DRY with whatever it takes in disposable towels everywhere it goes. Do look at the brakes if equipped it may not be.
Last was a cooler in front of radiator for me was rotted was dirt cheap but a pest like anything. Can try to bypass that if sure for now is/was an in stock item I was shocked.
Do not use a saw to cut metal hose use tubing cutter tools no filings in lines being replaced.
Don't wait you'll burn out pump if not already wrecking other stuff so get on this could be cheap and doable or a nightmare can't know you have to find it,

You most likely have a bad hose somewhere, most likely the pressure hose but you need to actually look for the leak on the car, not on the Internet.
