what should the pressures be for this truck ? and how much Freon does it take ?

Sport - that's a total "algorithm" of all other observations of temps and pressures at what RPM even include RH (relative humidity) to come up with what you should see.


At best you can see a working system is within an allowable range or one you just really fixed properly is also.
Just to be a pill the name "Freon" with a capital "F" isn't used any more since 1993 no more of that. If said in lower case was accepted as just a nick name for "refrigerant" it's just a clue you don't know that much is worrisome just a detail of what you call it!

As Tom alluded to in his special way, circumstances dictate changes in pressures. Outside temp, blower speed, cooling fan speed, amount of charge, windows open or closed, location of service port. These are all factors that change pressures so there is no right answer to your question.

PS, without you posting the year or engine size, we can't tell you much of anything about the specs for your truck.

I thought I gave that it's a 2000 Silverado 6.0 automatic 2500 just trying to figure out this thing I have done and checked all I know to ckeck . works great when I jump the relay I have found a few things that tells me some one has been in this system before me got any wiring diagram for the a/c system ?

it is a 2000 Silverado 2500 with automatic I have done everything I know to do which is not much . can I get a wiring diagram for the a/c system on this truck
