Fuse or Relay Ford F250 Sign In

I have a 2002 heavy duty 4 wheel drive F-250 with a V8 engine with just a little over 67000 miles on it. My question is how do I kill the power to the AC compressor as I believe it is causing my battery to go dead. Is there a fuse or relay that I can take out and if so where are they located? When I looked in my fuse panel everything is just numbers and nothing is labeled. Any info would be appreciated Thank You Huffy47

You can pull fuse #10 in the central box under the dash by the steering column....

What makes you think the a/c system is causing the draw?

I seriously doubt it is compressor. I don't remember it having a "key off" power supply.

Not really sure that this is the problem but a friend who works on county trucks said they have had issues with AC causing batteries to go down so I figured it was worth a shot at fixing the problem otherwise I have to start tracing wires for a short and as you know that can become a pain in the but. Thanks for the info I will post if this works or not

If a wire has a short, you would have blown fuses. You need to use an amp meter and check for parasitic draw.

Watch this video on how to check for a draw. Most draws shouldn't be over 50 mA. (.050 V).

This whole idea is ridiculous. He has absolutely no reason to believe the A/C is the problem. Maybe he should remove the front seat. I heard they can kill batteries too.
