Ip appears you should have left it alone. AC work is not a DIY job and those death kits you buy can end up costing you thousands in damage when you don't know what you are doing. The AC system requires a very specific weight of charge and either too much or too little can do severe damage. I suggest you not use it again until you can get to a qualified AC repair shop. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Year, make, model, and engine size? Are you using a set of manifold gauges. If not and you don't have the equipment, you should consider an ac specialist as HT recommended. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Does this can come with color gauge and maybe PSI on a gauge with hose and trigger like insect spray? We in the trade call that a Death Kit! Gauge isn't accurate and it knows nothing about what's wrong with the A/C. Worse - most I see and will look again they are even at the grocery store and home centers not! Quit and shut down A/C till you now should evacuate and have it recharged to exact known quantity which those can't do and worse again I have to go look at them had assorted claims of "o" ring lube or oil too plus seals leaks about all of them. Been years now but go look at them and see how many the needle is even pointing at zero new with all the others - not many. If it was pure refrigerant and you knew it in fact was just low only over time on vehicles with a sight glass you might make use of one. Just avoid that if you did want to as you start with knowing what's wrong. The problem is systems hold so little compared to ages ago you overdo it instantly and now lost all chances of getting good info those can't do so off to the A/C real professional shop you go now even if this problem was a fuse or relay not this at all, T
