Looking for ideas Ac works and blows cool air but will not cool the SUV unless it's like 80 degs outside. The lines sweat like they are supposed to and the freon pressure is ok.I have taking it to 2 shops one said it was high in freon and took some out and the other said they could not figure out what was wrong.Im not a mechanic but was wondering if the eco mode could be causing this issue or if anyone have seen something like this.

What is the air temp out the middle vent with the blower on high after it has run for 5 minutes? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

If you can verify high 50s or low 60s, there is nothing wrong with the system. As they get older they can lose cooling due to inner foam seals that deteriorate and don't seal off the warmer air well. Also, if this is a dual system the rear takes away from the front so that would also increase temp.
