AC compressor short cycling

2004 Chevy Silverado 1500, 5.3L The compressor on my AC is short cycling. After hooking up a set of gauges, the Low side is cycling from 20 PSI to 70 PSI as is should to protect itself. The high side sits at a steady 100 PSI no matter if the compressor is running or off. This seems like it would be a blockage somewhere but I'm not sure how to narrow it down or where to look. Any help would be much appreciated.

It's more than likely not a blockage. It is probably low on refrigerant. You'll need to have the system recovered and recharged to the correct weight. You may also need to find out where the leak is at. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
