I have a 1997 ford mercury sable wagon. I have no heat. I have gotten all air bubbles out of cooling system. I can go under the dash and feel heater core it is hot to the touch, even thru the plastic. when I turn the selector switch air changes from def to floor like it is supposed to do. when I move heat range switch all I get is cold air. a/c works like it is supposed to.

The temperature is controlled by the use of an air mix door that is operated by an electric motor/actuator. This door can be jammed or the actuator can be inoperative or have stripped plastic gears internally. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
