AC condensate has decided it like my car and not my driveway. Looks like the drain is somewhere under the evaporator case hidden by a heat shield (exhaust runs close by). How the heck do I get under it, or am I in the right area? Any other way to clean out that drain?

You can usually get a good idea where the drain is by looking at the shape of the evap housing inside. You should be able to tell where the drain goes through the firewall.
