I purchased a beautiful slantback 85 Cadillac Seville with documented 26,000 miles recently. 2 issues with it....rear window motor, and the Climate Control A/C.
There are 3 buttons for the AC....LOW, AUTOMATIC, and HIGH. LOW really doesn't blow but I can feel warmish air....no cool or cold. High does the same as LOW (I can barely feel the air but it is warm, not cool or cold). Now, on the AUTO setting, A/C does cool as it should.....is nice and cold, but it blows hard ALL the time and doesn't respond to the thermostat temperature setting. (And like I said, it cools and blows only on the AUTOMATIC setting). So at least I have cold air for here in Florida, but the fan running loud and hard all the time gets on my nerves and I would just like it to work as it should. Mechanic said needed Blower motor resistor module, so I found a new A/C DELCO 15-71379. Got it installed and A/C still doing the exact same thing. I need help to diagnose this... Has anyone had experience with this specifically and found the fix? Thank you very much for whatever help you can give me...

Most likely a bad control head, assuming you already replaced the blower speed module.

Caddys do have a way of doing some things differently. Low can do low fan so forget the fan itself. Interesting that it doesn't just lower fan speed but still put out cool and does on auto.
I'll never find info to peg it but seems the control head has a problem. That or unable to get inside ambient air temp accurately to adjust outputs and fan speed. Arggh - some climate controls used just a paper tube to under the top edge of dash pad or slight maybe thru top of dash pad. If those are blocked, broken, fell off it would confuse it and probably hard to get a glance at it.
May need an AllData manual for this specific car for the layout and items. Owner's manual should detail what each function was designed to do but can't be like this behavior by temp output.
Window motor or just that it doesn't work should be a separate issue and thread. Probably just brushes don't make electric contact and can be taken apart and cleaned or just whack the body of the motor and use it some it may snap out of that - different issue from A/C anything,
