My avalanche has five speeds for the air to come out, all first four work, but when i put it to 5 it doesn't work at all.

First check the 40a BLOWER fuse which is used for High only and if that is good, you likely have a bad blower motor resister which is located right next to the blower motor. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Yes, take it to a shop and let them resolve it for you. You've had this problem for nearly 3 months and haven't been able to identify the blower motor yet. This job probably isn't for you.
