2003 Durango blows warm air when idling with A/C on. Sign In

I have a 2003 Dodge Durango 4.7 V8 with 120,000 miles on it. It has front and rear climate control. I bought it about 4 months ago, so I don't know the history of the vehicle. The problem is the A/C blows warm when idling or at a light, even after the engine has been warm for hours. The A/C does get cooler when I'm going 45-50 mph but it never gets as cold as it should. A/C clutch and fan engages. I have evacuated the system and put new refrigerant in. I have cleaned the outside of the condenser. The low side gets cold, and the high side gets really hot. Did a pressure reading of 45 low side and 225 high side, temperature outside was about 78. I need help, I have a 2 year old and a month old baby that get real sweaty in this vehicle.

Your pressure look OK except to mean much take those with front only on in a dual system or go crazy.
How did you measure known exact weight of the charge for this? Why did you suspect the charge was wrong at all as what were the pressure before you touched it?
Yes the warmer season is here in many places and is hard to know 4 months ago if a system was working well or not when cool or real cold out anyway.
This could be heat contamination or request for TRUE climate control doesn't know what it's being asked to do anymore.
What to do? Try shutting rear down or off IDK how this system is set up to work, sorry. Is this a split system front being CCOT and rear an Ex valve set up or each uses an expansion valve?
Not sure yet but saying high side is that hot concerns me at the pressure you listed that's not wildly hot by that alone please do take pressures again with just front only those don't add up yet,

Locate the 2 heater hoses going into the firewall and totally pinch off one of them and see if the temp changes when you do that.
